My research interests are within the area of international management: strategy implementation and digitalization in international management (e.g., SaaS and blockchain adoption). I also explore new avenues in international business education and theory building with critical realist ontology.
I am passionate about teaching and try to design my courses to be personalized experiences for learning. I teach: International Management and Diversity Management; co-teach: Cross-cultural management and International Strategic Management. Beyond the master's and bachelor level courses, I am also engaged in the executive education and training.
In addition to teaching and research, I am serving as a Bachelor Degree Programme in International Business manager and an Ambassador for Internationalization at the School of Management, University of Vaasa.
In the Academy of International Business Teaching & Education Shared Interest Group (https://tesig.aib.world/), I serve as a chair. Previously, I served as a Vice Chair for Communications.
