Strategic Project Management

Our major in Strategic Project Management educates experts who can consider the needs and opportunities of project management theory, concept and analysis in an engineering context. You will learn how to plan, manage, and execute projects, while also gaining insights into industry standards and relevant frameworks. When using analytical tools for decision-making, planning and control, you will be able to manage projects in a lean and strategically effective way. You will learn about innovations and sustainability as well as ethical practices in project management.

After completing this degree, you will be eligible for doctoral studies. You will be able to develop sustainable and ethical solutions and new knowledge to benefit the society and industry. Moreover, you will gain valuable career skills such as problem-solving and decision-making, critical thinking, working in international teams, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Strategic Project Management is taught in the city of Seinäjoki, near Vaasa. We use a variety of modern teaching methods, including hybrid and blended learning as well as on-campus courses.
