University of Vaasa offers study opportunities to refugees from Ukraine

Kädet pitävät Ukrainan väreissä olevaa sydäntä
The University of Vaasa condemns the Russian military action and expresses its support for Ukraine and its university community. We grant study rights for separate studies to university students who have fled Ukraine and whose studies have been interrupted due to the war.

This entitlement allows students to take individual courses and is valid for up to two years. The studies are free of charge for students.

The University of Vaasa offers courses in business, technology, management, and communications. With a separate study permit, it is possible to study in English and take language courses at the Linginno language centre, for example. Students must have sufficient knowledge of English.

The application period started on 1 April 2022 and applications will be accepted until 31 December 2022. Students will be selected on the basis of academic performance and previous studies.
