Energy Laboratories
The University of Vaasa has a comprehensive laboratory complex, including a combustion engine laboratory, a fuel laboratory advancing future fuels, and a geoenergy laboratory focused on various forms of geothermal energy and thermal energy storage.

Technobothnia is a wide ranged laboratory unit co-owned by three universities, the University of Vaasa,
Vaasa University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences.
