Joining the alumni network is free of charge and brings you many benefits. You can choose the activities you are interested in.
As an alumni, you can be part of the university's activities in many ways. You can bring your insights to the development of our activities and education. Through alumni events in Finland and abroad you have opportunities to network with fellow alumni. We encourage alumni to organise their own reunions as well.
The University of Vaasa alumni network is spread around the world. In Finland, many graduates build their career in the capital region and in the Vaasa region.

The University of Vaasa’s alumni of the year are chosen annually by the Vaasa University Society. The honorary title is given to alumni who have used the capabilities they have acquired at the university in a positive way and who have increased the interaction between the university, the society, and the economy and inspired other alumni.
You can suppelement your degree and continue your studies after graduation. We offer multiple ways for lifelong learning such as Open University courses that can be taken alongside work. You can also apply for doctoral studies.
