We will accept applications to our international master's programmes for autumn 2024 intake through rolling admission in November–January and March–April, as well as through joint admission in January.
Economics and Business
We offer several master’s programmes in English for students of economics and business. Our finance students have access to the Bloomberg Lab and double-degree opportunities in Sweden and France. International Business students also have double degree options in Europe and a mentoring programme that ensures a seamless transition into the workforce. Strategic Business Development provides comprehensive training in strategic decision-making, business planning, and implementation with practical learning through case studies and projects.
Master's programme in Smart Energy
Our master’s programme in Smart Energy educates Masters of Science in Technology specialising in four different majors. Two majors, Smart Grids and Robotics, are taught completely in English. Robotics is arranged in the cities of Pori and Vaasa. We are also involved in the Smart Cities and Communities joint programme which takes students to three different countries.
Master's programme in Computing Sciences
In our Computing Sciences master’s programme, we offer majors taught in English and Finnish to future Masters of Science in Technology and Masters of Science in Economics and Business Administration. The English-taught major, Sustainable and Autonomous Systems is a collaborative programme with the University of Oulu. This joint effort leverages both universities' strengths in sustainable energy systems and smart, autonomous systems.
Master’s programme in Industrial Management
Our master’s programme in Industrial Management innovatively brings together engineering and business administration. You can choose from several majors taught in English and apply for summer internships with international companies at the heart of Northern Europe’s largest energy business cluster. With Industrial Systems Analytics or Strategic Project Management as your major, you will graduate with a Master of Science in Technology, while majoring in Industrial Management will make you a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
