Laura Urrila
Introduction
Background
I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Human Resource Management research group. My Ph.D. (2022) focused on the value of mindfulness for leaders and leadership development. Before joining the School of Management in 2017, I worked for several years in organizational development as management consultant and in finance expert positions.
Research
My research interest is on leadership and leadership development, mindfulness and other work life and wellbeing-related topics, including hybrid work.
Teaching and supervision
I am the responsible teacher for the Leading People course which is part of the bachelor's degree programme. I supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses in the human resource management field. I act as a second supervisor of doctoral theses related to the areas of my research interest.
