The joint project PEAK – Development of the Regional Energy System in Ostrobothnia by University of Vaasa and Aktion Österbotten is coming to an end. In this final seminar, we will present the project’s key findings and insights on developing regional energy system toward carbon neutrality. The programme will also include keynote presentations from invited experts and conclude with a panel discussion reflecting on future pathways and regional opportunities.

The aim of the PEAK project has been to create new knowledge to speed up the development of the regional energy system towards carbon neutrality concerning renewable energy. The work has been done from technical, economic and community point of view. The project is co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by the University of Vaasa’s research and innovation platform VEBIC.
