Study opportunities for everyone
In open university you can study courses of the University of Vaasa regardless of your age, study background and life circumstances. Teaching is arranged mostly online. In case of contact teaching, the teaching will be arranged mostly in the evenings and weekends so that as many students as possible can participate.
Selection of courses for the academic year 2025–2026
To be able to enrol in the courses you'll need Finnish social security number and online banking codes.
Here you can find the selection of open university courses of the University of Vaasa for the academic year 2025–2026. The enrolment for the courses for the academic year 25-26 will begin on 13 August 2025 at 10 AM! Please check the detailed schedule and performance information for each implementation before registering! Each implementation has a limited number of places, and places will be filled in the order of registration.
