BACKGROUND AND CURRENT POSITION

I hold an DSc degree (Econ.) in marketing from the University of Vaasa (Finland) and a MA degree in French language including pedagogic studies from the university of Helsinki (Finland). Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at the university of Vaasa working in two projects related to misleading consumers and circular economy solutions both in the clothing context. I also teach alongside my research. Previously I have worked for example as a research manager in a private market research company.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research is situated in the fields of consumer research (consumer behaviour) and marketing. My work focuses on sustainable consumption and social marketing as well as on the linkages between consumption and subjective well-being, particularly in the context of clothing system.
