Pekka Töytäri appointed professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Vaasa

Pekka Töytäri, Doctor of Technology, has been appointed the new professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Vaasa. He will start his new position at the beginning of September. The professorship is research-focused and part of the multidisciplinary South Ostrobothnian Epanet research network and University Consortium of Seinäjoki. Töytäri will be working on the Seinäjoki campus.

Syrjälä graduated with a master's degree in economics and business administration in 1988 from the former degree programme in marketing and international trade. Since graduation, he has built an impressive career as a diplomat, and he has also shared his expertise as a lecturer and seminar speaker at the university.
