- At the University of Vaasa, we’ve built strong double degree opportunities across Europe: in France, Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic. Now, adding Ireland to the list makes our offering even more exciting and diverse. Double degrees open doors for our students to truly experience internationalisation, gaining valuable academic and cultural perspectives. At the same time, they help us create lasting partnerships with respected universities, strengthening collaboration in learning, teaching, and research, says Anne Ahlqvist,International Education Specialist.
Through this new partnership with the University of Limerick, students from both universities can complete part of their studies abroad and graduate with two degrees: one from the University of Vaasa and one from the University of Limerick. Students from the University of Vaasa will spend approximately 1,5 to 2 years of their bachelor’s degree studies in Ireland, gaining international experience and broadening their academic horizons. No additional tuition fees apply.
A double degree allows engaging more intensively with local teaching, assessment methods, and industry networks. It also offers rich immersion in the host country’s academic and professional environments.
