Entrepreneurial skills for an international career – application open for Summer School on Entrepreurship and Venturing

The University of Vaasa will once again organise the international summer school, Summer School on Entrepreneurship and Venturing, in August 2025. The programme is aimed at university students from various fields. The three-week summer school includes interesting lectures and practical exercises that prepare students for an international career and develop skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, and knowledge of international markets.

The international and multidisciplinary programme offers excellent opportunities for networking

Students from various countries around the world attend the summer school, providing a great opportunity for international networking. 

In addition to the university's own experts, there will be many international guests, such as Gary Knight (Willamette University, USA), Dirk Libaers (University of South Florida, USA), Andrew Hird (Sheffield Hallam University, UK), Emma Lappi (Aarhus University, Denmark), Marianne Kallaste (Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia), Stere Stamule (Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania), Swati Bhargava (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany), and Thomas Cyron (Jönköping International Business School, Sweden).

There will also be company representatives bringing a practical perspective to the topics discussed.

University students from various fields and from all over the world are welcome to attend the summer school. The summer school is free of charge for degree students from the University of Vaasa,  higher education institutions in Vaasa, and partner universities of the University of Vaasa. 

Applications for the summer school are open until 15 May 2025. Detailed information about the courses, contents, credits, and application process can be found on the summer school's website.
