VECTORIA Project Kick-Off Event

We warmly welcome you to join the kick-off event of the VECTORIA project on 17 September 2026 at the University of Vaasa campus or online.

The VECTORIA project, funded by the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia, focuses on defining Novel Power Infra: a concept for a shared research and testing environment for validating electrical engineering solutions and power systems, from device level to system level by combining virtual, digital, and physical testing environments. The VECTORIA project is transforming an initial concept into an investment-ready definition through close collaboration with companies and key stakeholders.

The kick-off event marks the official launch of the project activities and brings together partners, companies, stakeholders, and experts to discuss the project's objectives, planned activities, and opportunities for collaboration. During the event, we will present the project objectives, work packages, timeline, and upcoming activities. We will also officially launch the Novel Power Infra Industrial White Paper, which introduces the concept, its vision, and the opportunities it offers for the future development of the energy sector.

The event will also include an interactive workshop session, offering participants an opportunity to contribute directly to the project's direction and collaborate with other stakeholders in shaping future development priorities. During the workshop, participants will identify and prioritise critical capabilities and requirements that will support the development of the Novel Power Infra concept and the activities of the VECTORIA project.
