Dr. Badeeb is an associate professor in energy and environmental economics, with a distinguished track record of publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. His research covers critical areas such as climate change, the natural resource curse, energy poverty, and sustainable development. He has successfully integrated these themes into research projects that have gained widespread recognition, earning him prestigious research awards. He is also the Editor of the Economics section of Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, a journal published by Springer Nature.
Dr. Badeeb's teaching expertise spans a broad spectrum of subjects within Economics and Finance, including Industrial Economics, Financial Economics, International Finance, Financial Markets, and Sustainability. His ability to provide in-depth, interdisciplinary education across these fields earned him several teaching excellence awards at the University of Nottingham and Curtin University Malaysia.
Previously, he held leadership roles at the University of Nottingham Malaysia and Curtin University Malaysia, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing academic quality and programme development.
