The TRUST project develops secure and robust wireless networks for remote and industrial areas in the Aurora region. By combining terrestrial and satellite technologies, the project enables real-time data management and optimization in sectors such as industrial automation, logistics, transportation, and smart grids.

The University of Vaasa contributes expertise in AI, positioning, and cybersecurity, while Mid Sweden University adds expertise in applied AI, Industrial IoT, and wireless connectivity. Through these, reliable communication solutions are created that strengthen the industry. 

TRUST supports regional digital transformation and strengthens cross-border industrial competitiveness by improving the reliability of communications even in demanding environments. Project results will be validated in a joint testbed under real-world conditions.
