Shifting Investment Cultures in Digital Spaces

This research project focuses on the role of digital spaces in shaping investment culture. Digital spaces, such as social networking and crowdfunding platforms, provide novel possibilities for consumers to engage in investment practices and to participate in discussions about the values and meanings related to investing. Our goal in this project is to identify, analyze, and envision digital spaces where consumers can participate in the economy in meaningful and socially sustainable ways.

The project is scheduled for 2021-2025 and is funded by the Academy of Finland.
