Project description

In this co-creation project, it is a target to investigate the use of selective electrolyzer in nitrogen oxide removal and conversion from flue gases and fluids. Especially in critical sectors such as food energy production, the security of supply has lately become a very important aspect on national (Finnish) and European scale. Due to lack of local supply chain today, interest in domestic, sustainable and economically feasible ammonia production is on the rise. It is a plan to make pre-study in co-operation with an international partner, targeting also to find Finnish companies and research institutes, in which business field this new method will match or which had research facilities and knowledge in that field. It is a target to find domestic partners and create project plans for a future Co-innovation or Co-research project, if the results by this Co-creation project are positive technically and economically for potential Finnish partners.
