FITech FORWARD

The project aims to enhance the ability of Universities within the FITech network to offer continuous learning opportunities, particularly micro-credentials, in a way that is based on data about the skills needs of the industry. This will be achieved by developing staff capabilities to connect the expertise of FITech universities, such as research data and educational offerings, with the skills needs of learners and the industry, as well as to manage the related information. The project will establish an operational model for managing and integrating information, enabling the creation of micro-credentials and development pathways for professional expertise. Unified practices will be developed for identifying micro-credentials within the FITech network, taking into account national guidelines. Additionally, the project will develop a model to integrate continuous learning and the provision of micro-credentials into the teaching planning processes of FITech Universities, as well as to facilitate the rapid dissemination of new research findings.
