The Electricity and Energy Learning Path
Project information
Project description
The Electricity and Energy Learning Path increases children’s and young people’s understanding of electricity, energy and the transformation of the energy society through hands‑on learning activities. The 2.5‑year project is carried out in Finnish and Swedish, developing, piloting and disseminating a nationwide model within the LUMA network that supports curricula at all educational levels and offers concrete, inquiry‑based workshops from primary to upper secondary, addressing the energy sector’s growing skills needs. Pilots begin in 2027, open workshops run in 2027–2028, and open teaching materials will be published in 2028.
