Be a Sport! Enhancing Systems Change of the Finnish Sport Policy (BESS)

The research project identifies the prerequisites for systemic change in sports policy, as well as models of action that promote and inhibit change. Sports policy is a rapidly changing field of politics, which is related to many social phenomena such as health and climate change. The information produced expands the understanding of, for example, the mechanisms of sports policy, the practices of the third sector, power relations, values at the actor level, leadership methods, and networks.
