Companies and organisations can also commission contract research and studies, access our research infrastructures, or support research by funding professorships or doctoral studies.

CoDoc - Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Model
CoDoc – the Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Model – is the University of Vaasa’s cooperation model that enables close collaboration between a doctoral researcher and a company or other organisation. Each research project is based on the concrete needs of the partner, generating new scientific knowledge, enhancing competitiveness, and creating future-oriented solutions.
The model offers access to cutting-edge research, early insights into results, and the opportunity to align your own RDI activities with independent scientific research. CoDoc is based on a co-funding model, where the partner and the University of Vaasa jointly finance the doctoral research.
