Evidence from Finland and the United Kingdom” will be on Friday 9 November at 12 o´clock in Auditorium Kurtén (Tervahovi). The field of dissertation is Accounting and Finance.

Ethiopia Segaro’s doctoral dissertation ”Internationalization of family small and medium sized enterprises: Impact of ownership, governance and top management team” will be on Friday 5 October at 12 o´clock in Auditorium Palomäki (Tervahovi A201). The field of dissertation is Marketing.
The University of Vaasa, Department of Production takes part in the European FP7 Project ADVENTURE (ADaptive Virtual ENterprise ManufacTURing Environment). The idea of the project is to promote flexibility and the fast emergence of new innovations. The project is especially useful for the creation and operation of so called virtual factories that are networks of several independent manufacturing companies.
The Well-being week takes place at the University of Vaasa on the first week of October (1-5 October 2012). The program includes lectures, and you also have a chance to visit a variety of stands from Tuesday to Thursday in the lobby of restaurant Mathilda. Most of the events during the Well-being week are arranged in Finnish, but some of them will be available in English or otherwise suitable for non-Finnish speakers.
