University of Vaasa ranks among the world's top 500 universities and leads Finland in research quality
The University of Vaasa continued to improve its performance in several key indicators. The strongest result was achieved in Research Quality, where the university ranked first in Finland and among the top 50 universities in Europe. Globally, the University of Vaasa improved its position to equal 102nd place, with a score of 90.1.
The university also made significant progress in International Outlook, increasing its score from 67.4 to 77.3. This places the University of Vaasa second in Finland in the indicator and among the world's top 350 universities for international outlook.
Vice-rector of International Affairs Martin Meyer is pleased with the university's continued strong performance.

These results show that the University of Vaasa continues to strengthen its position as an internationally recognised research university.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is one of the most widely recognised international university rankings. The ranking assesses universities across a range of performance indicators, including teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement and international outlook.
