University of Vaasa enters QS World University Rankings by Subject and demonstrates research excellence
The University is placed in the 501–550 bracket globally for Business and Management Studies and scored particularly well within the ranking's H-index component, with a score of 95.9 from 100. The H-Index is a way of measuring both the productivity and impact of research output, signalling expanding international recognition.
In Business and Management Studies, 2,878 institutions were evaluated, with only 650 universities ultimately included in the published ranking.

The complete QS World University Rankings by Subject assesses universities based on key indicators including academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact, and in 2026 covered more than 6,000 institutions across 166 countries and 55 subjects.
