On his speech, Dean Adam Smale highlighted the need for developing leadership competences.

At the event, Dean Adam Smale congratulated the graduates, emphasising that the value of an EMBA lies not only in its learning, but also in the perseverance, determination and drive required to complete it. He highlighted that MBA studies are not merely a personal achievement, but also an investment in the expertise needed in today’s complex and uncertain operating environment. The leadership and business competences developed by the graduates are essential in guiding organisations through polycrises, change and uncertainty.

– We need leadership competences that enable organisations to navigate challenges and become more sustainable and resilient. I hope we have provided many of the tools to meet increasingly demanding leadership roles, whether it is leading in uncertainty, building resilience or practising empathetic leadership at a time when people are concerned about global developments and their impact on their own lives, Smale said.

On graduate's speech Erik Junger reflected on the importance of continuous learning.

In his speech, graduate Erik Jungner reflected on the importance of continuous learning and the development of individual thinking. He highlighted how peer learning, networks and practical applications will help participants strengthen their organisations and find new solutions to real business challenges. He also expressed his gratitude to the programme and its organisers.

– The EMBA programme provided a strong academic foundation. We gained theoretical insight into various challenges and were given frameworks through which to reflect on them. At the same time, what we learn is shaped by the participants themselves. We can bring our own recent experiences into discussions and connect them with what we have learned, which makes the whole experience particularly meaningful, Junger explained.

The programme featured great musical performances by Anne‑Mari Vatunen, Head of Facility Services, together with Anna Roos.

At the end of the event, Training Manager Ida Söderholm also extended her thanks to the participants.

– It has been a great pleasure to see your development during your studies. Your final projects clearly demonstrate how effectively you have applied what you have learned, and it is wonderful to hear that this has already benefited your organisations.

Warm congratulations to all the graduates!
