Welcome to the final seminar of the DigiBiogasHubs project!
The joint research project of the University of Vaasa, Centria University of Applied Sciences and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences DigiBiogasHubs – Flexible and scalable biogas business through digitally connected biogas Hubs is coming to an end. In the final seminar, we will present key results of the project and highlight current themes in the biogas industry, from regional potentials and digital solutions to regulation and the importance of cooperation. The aim of the DigiBiogasHubs project has been to develop and pilot a system-level solution based on a digital platform and tools that promote the development and interaction of biogas hubs located in different regions as well as the development of the biogas market. The research project DigiBiogasHubs is co-funded by the European Union (European regional development fund ERDF 2021-2027) and coordinated by the University of Vaasa research and innovation platform VEBIC. The project partners are Centria and SEAMK. Other funding partners are Wärtsilä, Stormossen, PK Biogas, the City of Kokkola, the City of Kannus, and the Kaustinen sub-region.
