Alumni Energy on Campus

The University of Vaasa is happy to invite the alumni community on campus on 13 August 2025!

The theme of our evening is alumni energy: the fuel, the expertise, and the connection born from our years at the University of Vaasa – a lasting source of strength that powers our future and carries us forward, both as individuals and as a community. As the keynote speaker, we present alumna Tiina Helenius. In addition, the evening includes mingling, casual dining and getting to know the renewed campus.

The event is targeted to University of Vaasa alumni. Sign up before 6 August 2025 and bring your alumni energy with you! Please note that the number of seats is limited.

• Welcome and greetings, Rector Minna Martikainen
• Toast to the Alumni  
• Speech: The future and challenges of the USA and Europe, and what it means for investment allocation, alumna  Tiina Helenius, Chief economist of the Mutual Pension Insurance Company ELO. Helenius was awarded Alumni of the year 2022.
• Mingling and casual dining
• Tour at the renewed campus 

20:00 Afterparty at the University of Vaasa Arcade.
