Publiikki Graduation Event
Next Publiikki will be held on Wednesday June 19th 2024 in the Levón Auditorium at the University of Vaasa, and there will be two separate ceremonies.
The event in brief
The 12 o’clock graduation ceremony is for the Masters of Science in Administrative Sciences, MScs in Philosophy, MScs in Technology, MScs in Economics and Business Administration graduating in industrial management, computing sciences and technical communication, and doctoral graduates within these fields.
The 14.30 graduation ceremony is for the Masters and Doctors of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
A programme includes short speeches by the rector and deans. The Publiikki event takes approx. 1,5 hours.
Refreshments will be served after the event. Changes are possible, please follow this page.
The first rows of the hall are reserved for the graduates. The graduates of each School sit in alphabetical order according to the received degree. Each graduate will have an assigned seat with their name tag on it.
Family and friends can take any seat in the auditorium, excluding the reserved rows of seats.
Registration for the event
All graduates are welcome to attend the event. An invitation to the event will not be sent, please register for the event in the application for a degree certificate.
You may also invite some guests to the event, e.g. your family members or friends. Please inform also the number of your guests in the application for a degree certificate.
If you have registered for the Publiikki event, but you fall ill or otherwise wish to cancel your participation, please remember to inform the Study and Education Services (counselling@uwasa.fi).
Dress code
It is recommended to wear a festive and smart outfit. For men, this means a suit or a jacket and for women a dress, skirt or trouser suit.
