Publiikki Graduation Event
The next Publiikki will be held on Thursday, 18 June 2026, in the Levón Auditorium at the University of Vaasa.
This year, the event will be organized as three separate ceremonies to allow each graduate to invite 1–3 guests.
Registration
Please register for the Publiikki by 4 June 2026.
In the registration form, graduates will also provide information about their guests (1–3 people) as well as any special dietary requirements.
All registered participants will receive more detailed instructions via email approximately one week before the event.
Publiikki 1 – 10:15 AM
The following Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration programmes will participate:
- Henkilöstöjohtamisen maisteriohjelma
- Liiketoiminnan kehittämisen maisteriohjelma
- Markkinoinnin johtamisen maisteriohjelma
- Master's Programme in Strategic Business Development
- Master's Programme In International Business
Doctoral graduates from the following fields:

Participants include graduates from the following programmes:
- Sähkö- ja energiatekniikan maisteriohjelma (DI)
- Teknisen viestinnän maisteriohjelma (KTM)
- Tietojenkäsittelytieteiden maisteriohjelma (KTM ja DI)
- Master's programme in Electrical and Energy Engineering (M.Sc. (Tech))
- Master's programme in Computing Sciences (M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Admin.) and M.Sc. (Tech))
- Master’s programme in Industrial Engineering and Management ( M.Sc. (Tech) and M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Admin.))
Doctoral graduates from the School of Technology and Innovations (D.Sc. (Tech.), PhD, D.Sc. (Econ.)).

Publiikki 3 – 2:15 PM
Participants include Master of Philosophy, Master of Administrative Sciences, and Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the following programmes:
- Viestinnän monialainen koulutusohjelma
- Teknisen viestinnän maisteriohjelma (FM)
- Hallintotieteiden maisteriohjelma
- Master's Programme in Finance
- Laskentatoimen ja tilintarkastuksen maisteriohjelma
- Talousoikeuden maisteriohjelma
- Taloustieteen maisteriohjelma
Doctoral graduates (PhD, D.Sc. (Admin.), D.Sc. (Econ.)) in:
- Communication Studies
- Administrative Sciences
- Accounting and Finance
- Economics
- Business Law
Programme and Duration
Each ceremony includes:
- Greeting from the Rector
- Greetings from the Deans
- Individual recognition on stage
- Speech by a graduate
The duration of each event, including refreshments, is approximately 1.5 hours.
A professional photographer will be present in the lobby of Restaurant Mathilda, next to the photo wall. Participants may have photos taken with their loved ones. Photos will be delivered afterwards via a download link to all registered participants.
Dress Code
The Publiikki is a festive occasion, and attire should reflect the significance of the graduates' achievements. Appropriate dress can be a suit, dress trousers with a jacket and shirt, a stylish dress, a trouser suit.
Degree Certificate
Degree certificates are not distributed at the Publiikki. On the graduation day, the electronic degree certificate will be available in the student’s Peppi dashboard, from where it can be downloaded.
Certificate folders will be available at the Publiikki.
