Welcome

VAKKI is a scientific association founded in Vaasa in 1984. The purpose of our association is to promote scientific research related to communication. We serve as a link between researchers, professionals in language and communication, and others interested in the activities of the association. We strive to maintain an ongoing dialogue with the national and international academic community as well as with the surrounding society.

The annual activities of the Association include:

Organizing an international symposium

Publishing a peer-reviewed publication and edited volumes

Promoting communality of communication researchers

Participating in discussions on current affairs
