Rural politics' thematic network MaalleKo

Thematic Network MaalleKo (Living and integration in Rural areas) of The National Rural Policy Council has the aim to support the habitability of rural areas, the conditions and attractiveness of living in rural areas, and the integration of new arrivals into rural areas. The key work is to support decision-makers in cross-sectoral and strategically important rural policy issues by producing information as the basis for decision-making, and by actively communicating and influencing through networked operating methods and partnerships. The network project implements the Programme for Rural Policy 2021-2027 and operates as part of the Rural Policy Council (MANE), carrying out the tasks assigned to the Council. The University of Vaasa's contribution to the project is focused on rural transport.
