Introduction

Anna-Aurora Kork (PhD in Administrative Sciences, the Title of Docent) is an Associate Professor in Social and Health management in School of Management. Her research interests include public policy, improvement of health and social services and dynamics of reform policy. She is currently studying social impact management in the Finnish wellbeing services counties and the mechanisms of institutional change in reforming public services. Previously, Kork has been working on various research and development projects focused on public sector management, performance and impact evaluation, interaction and value co-creation in healthcare decision-making.

Research

My research interests are related to value-based policies, societal impact and management of effectiveness in social and health services, healthcare policymaking and reforms. Public Policy and Governance | University of Vaasa 

I hold the the Title of Docent (Adjunct Professor) at the University of Eastern Finland in the field of Health and Social Management Science, especially Public Decision-Making.I have completed University Pedagogy studies (25 ECTS) as well as supervisor training.

For doctoral supervision, the research topics of particular interest include performance, effectiveness, knowledge formation, value-based strategies, and mechanisms of change. I am currently supervising 12 doctoral researchers.
