I am a University Teacher at the University of Vaasa. My research broadly focuses on consumer behavior and marketing practice. I am actively interested in the ways consumption is central to socio-cultural processes of meaning-making and situated within sociological debates on structure and agency.
Originally, I am from the United States and immigrated to Finland in 2013 from Portland, Oregon. I recently completed my Ph.D. in marketing at Aalto University School of Business. Prior, I studied sociology at the University of Oregon and Business Administration at the Pamplin School of Business at the University of Portland.
