Registration to the 2026-2027 academic year opens on 1 June 2026

When confirming your study place, Studyinfo offers you the option for registering as an attending student for academic year 2026-2027. 
The registration portal opens on 1st June, 2026. You can read more about the registration for the academic year here: https://www.uwasa.fi/en/welcome/checklist-new-students#section_390. Registration is completed through the same link you used to accept your study place. If you have been conditionally accepted, you cannot register for the academic year until you have met the conditions and paid the possible tuition fees.

The deadline for registration is 15 September 2026. However, it is very important that you register already before the orientation week starts!
Without registration, you can’t 
-activate your university user account
-access the university system
-participate in courses or orientation activities

 User Account Activation

• User accounts can be activated starting August 1, 2025 at https://it.uwasa.fi/?l=en
• Activation is possible with Finnish online banking credentials
• If you do not have Finnish banking credentials, instructions for account activation will be published by early August
• Important: you can only activate your user account when you have already registered
