Nearly half a million euros in grants for University of Vaasa researchers

University of Vaasa researchers and doctoral students have received a total of €433,000 in grants this autumn from the Foundation for Economic Education and the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation.

The Foundation for Economic Education awarded €310,000 in its autumn grant round to University of Vaasa researchers and research groups.

In addition, many University of Vaasa researchers received smaller grants for research visits and conference travel.

The Foundation for Economic Education distributed €5 million in grants for research and education in business and economics. The awarded grants represent 13% of the €38.4 million applied for.

The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation awarded a total of €123,000 to the University of Vaasa as follows:

This year, the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation allocated €16.1 million to science, arts, and societal activities in the form of grants, awards, and other support.
