The University of Vaasa is part of the FITech Network University that provides university courses in the field of technology free of charge. Applications for the FITech Network's fall courses began on 3 June 2025.

FITech courses are part of a varied selection offered by universities, suitable for a wide range of professionals and various needs. Are you, for instance, an experienced professional in the field of technology looking for updates on the latest trends, or a newly graduated person, eager to deepen your knowledge? FITech’s course selection includes beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level courses. 

This fall, there are over 150 FITech courses available. Most courses are offered as online studies, allowing you to study flexibly regardless of where you are. 

Course topics include, for example: 

  • ICT and digitalisation
  • Sustainability and energy transition
  • Leadership and organisational development
  • Basic and engineering skills

FITech – The Finnish Institute of Technology

The Finnish Institute of Technology (FITech) is a network of nine Finnish universities of technology, Technology Industries of Finland (Teknologiateollisuus) and the Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland TEK. 

The founding mission of FITech is to contribute to the development of Finnish innovation capacity and to respond to competence demands arising in the field of engineering.
