Application Period for International Master’s programmes of the University of Vaasa starts

The application period for the international Master’s programmes of the University of Vaasa has started ending on 25th of January 2017. The University offers six international Master’s programmes taught entirely in English.

The Faculty of Business Studies offers the EPAS-accredited Master’s programmes in Finance and in International Business as well as the Master’s programme in Strategic Business Development. The Faculty of Technology offers the Master’s programme in Wireless Industrial Automation and the new industrial management programme Industrial Systems Analytics, both leading to a Master’s degree in technology, as well as the Industrial Management programme leading to a Master’s degree in economics and business administration.

The Finnish higher education institutions will start collecting tuition fees for the first time from students coming outside the EU/EEA area. The tuition fees at the University of Vaasa are 10 000 euros  or 12 000 euros and apply to the Master’s students starting their studies in autumn 2017.  The students subjected to the tuition fees are eligible for scholarships, which can be a full or partial tuition fee waivers. The first year’s scholarships are based on the previous academic merits reviewed during application process. The second year’s scholarships are based on the academic merits during the first year of studies at the University of Vaasa.

Admission decisions are made on the basis of the application and the programmes select the best candidates based on the previous degree, language skills and motivation of the applicant.
