Separate study right

Previously, it was possible to apply for a fee-based separate study right at the University of Vaasa to complete individual courses. As most University of Vaasa courses are available through the Open University, separate study right applications will not be offered in the 2026–2027 academic year. However, the university's Language Centre Linginno has an ongoing application for those communication and language studies that are not available through the Open University. The separate study right is subject to a fee based on the number of credits.
