Registration for the Hydrogen Research Forum Finland Annual Seminar 2026 opens soon and closes on 22 October 2026.
Accommodation
Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.
To make your visit easier, a limited number of rooms have been reserved for seminar participants at the hotels below. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis using the booking codes provided. We recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible.

Travelling to Vaasa
The university of Vaasa is beautifully situated on the western coast of Finland, right by the sea in the Palosaari district of Vaasa. The campus is renowned for its stunning waterfront views, modern architecture, and vibrant academic atmosphere. It’s just a short 20 min walk from the city center, offering easy access to hotels, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
Vaasa is well connected via Helsinki and Stockholm. Finnair operates multiple daily flights from Helsinki to Vaasa, with a flight time of approximately one hour. VR trains offer a comfortable journey of 3.5 to 3.9 hours, with onboard Wi-Fi and power outlets. Long-distance buses provide a budget-friendly alternative, taking around 6.5 to 7 hours. SAS offers direct flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Vaasa in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Vaasa airport is located about 11–12 km from the university. Bus line 4 connects the airport to the city centre and campus in approximately 35 minutes, with fares around €2. Taxis take 15-20 minutes and cost approximately €30–35.
Train and bus station is located in the city 1,8 km from the University of Vaasa.
