I serve as a Program Manager and Senior University Lecturer at the School of Marketing and Communication, University of Vaasa, Finland. I hold a PhD in marketing from University of Vaasa. I am also a member of the board of the School of Marketing and Communication.
I hold a central academic role in the development and continuous improvement of the Master's Degree Programme in Marketing. My teaching activities extend across all levels of higher education, from bachelor to MBA programmes and doctoral education. My key teaching areas focus on design thinking, marketing analytics, strategic sales management, and research methods. I am dedicated to enhancing pedagogical practices and committed to maintaining excellence in teaching and learning.
In my research, I explore meaningful experiences in different consumption contexts. Within the marketing and consumption research group, I am responsible for a research program on meaningful learning experiences. My work has been published in academic journals including Marketing Theory, Qualitative Research: An International Journal, Nordic Journal of Business, Research in Consumer Culture Theory, Journal of Marketing Education, and Marketing Education Review.
I actively contribute to the academic community. I serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Marketing Education and have worked as a guest editor for journals such as Nordic Journal of Business and Kulutustutkimus.Nyt.
Throughout my career, I have strived to balance teaching, research, and academic service with the goal of making a positive impact on my students and the broader academic community.
