General safety instructions – protect your health and the health of others
Please come to campus only if you are healthy! By following the coronavirus protection guidelines, we act in solidarity and at the same time take care of our own and each other's health safety. You can wear a face mask on campus if you want to.
Autumn 2022 we will provide quality education on campus and in part also remotely. The first- and second-year courses in the bachelor’s programmes will be held primarily on campus. Master’s studies are planned flexibly according to the needs of our students.

International students can come to Vaasa if possible within the existing travelling restrictions. International internships continue within the limits set by the authorities.

People can meet at the university premises provided that health security is considered. The event organiser is responsible for practices concerning health safety.
The University of Vaasa moves to flexible multi-location working. In multi-location working, members of staff work 1–5 days a week on campus. The supervisor and employee discuss the alternatives and agree on the forms of work and working on campus.

Crisis management team
The University of Vaasa crisis management team is led by the rector and consists of rector, vice rector, security manager, finance director, HR director, legal director and vice-director of communications and marketing. The team follows the Covid-19 situation actively and keeps close contacts with other universities and the authorities. The teams decisions follow authorities' assessments.
