About the research group

SC-Research (SCR) is an industrial management research group of the University of Vaasa located in Lapua. Its core competence areas are service innovations, demand- and user-oriented innovation initiatives, competence-intensive services, service businesses in industries, competence protection and management as well as the management of development and innovation operations.

The extensive partner network of SC-Research includes many national and international top-level research departments, universities, research centres and companies.

The research group is headed by dean Raine Hermans.
