The university suspends the admission of exchange students from abroad
The University of Vaasa will suspend the admission of exchange students from abroad due to the corona situation until the end of May.
- We would have had a few new exchange students at the beginning of February. We try to limit the spread of new virus variants by interruption, says Jari Kuusisto, Rector of the University of Vaasa.
The university is in direct contact with the students affected by the interruption.
At the beginning of the year, 66 exchange students arrived in Vaasa, who were instructed in the measures related to the coronavirus situation, including testing, quarantine and the use of face masks. Students are constantly instructed to behave in accordance with pandemic restrictions.
Exchange students can study remotely, even if they are not in Vaasa.
