Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation has granted funding to eight doctoral students and researchers of the University of Vaasa.

The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation is a Finnish non-profit organization. Its purpose is to support cultural and economic development in Finland.  It distributes grants and prizes in the fields of science, art and other societal activity.

PhD Gianluca Trotta got 28 000 euros for post doctoral research "Energy efficiency improvements and related energy security and climate benefits: the case of Finland".

M.Sc. Valeriia Boldosova got 24 000 euros for doctoral research "Big data analytics, smart services and storytelling in the age of digital servitization: An organizational behavior approach".

M.Sc. Sara Yasar got 24 000 euros for doctoral research "The Impact of Bank Regulations, Supervision and Private Monitoring on Bank Liquidity Creation".

TkT Leena Kunttu got 14 000 euros for research "Practices of knowledge creation and commercialization in long-term university-industry innovation collaboration"

D.Sc. Huu Le Nguyen got 14 000 euros for post doctoral research "Value Creation and Social Responsibility through Strategic Alliances with firms in Renewable Energy Sectors".

D.Sc. Man Yang got 14 000 euros for post doctoral research "International entrepreneurship driven ecosystem: The role of disruptive technology and digitalization"

KTM Katjalina Jyllilä got 12 000 euros for doctoral research "Mobility and career success in the context of re-organization".

KTM Anne-Maria Holma (Vaasan yliopisto) got together with  KTT Asta Salmi (LUT) 5000 euros for organizing a workshop "Nordic Workshop on Supplier Relationships 2019".
