Martin Hultman: In the midst of climate crisis. Different communicative and material forms of climate change denial which obstruct humanity from leaving fossil fuels in the ground.

Why don’t we act enough when the existential danger of climate emergency has been communicated by scientists et.al. for over thirty years? How can we as academics make sense of our ‘in the middle of it all’ situation? Are there possible lines of flights coming out of research results that we may use from here? Such are some of the questions Hultman deals with in his academic, citizen and everyday life and which are to be discussed in dialogue with the participants at this seminar.
