Tahir Ali is an Assistant Professor of International Business at the School of Marketing and Communication. His teaching is closely related to his research in international business and foremost takes place on bachelor and master level. He teaches International Business Operation Modes, International Business Negotiations, Doing Business in Emerging Markets, and Quantitative Methods.
Tahir has previously worked as an assistant professor of International Business at Linnaeus University.
His teaching is closely related to his research in international business and interests include International Business Operation Modes, International Business Negotiations, Strategy Analysis for Business Success in Mature Markets, Doing Business in Emerging Markets, Theories and Research in International Business, and Quantitative Research Methods in International Business.
His research focuses on strategic alliances, foreign direct investment and foreign divestment strategies of Nordic firms in emerging and developed countries. He has good knowledge of international business theories and quantitative research methods. His research has published in Scandinavian Journal of Management, Industrial Marketing Management, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing.
