University of Vaasa invites you to follow online the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2021-2022 on Monday September 6th 2021 at 2.15pm.
The programme includes speeches from Rector, Vice-rector and Chair of student union. Minister of Science and Culture Antti Kurvinen, Managing director Mari Kiviniemi (Finnish Commerce Federation) and Rector Jari Kuusisto will discuss what university and science will look like in 2030.
Chamber of commerce award and Alumni of the Year award will be presented.
Speeches are held mainly in Finnish, except for Vice-rector's greeting that will be in English.
