Downtime on the university website on 4 June – domain name changes to uwasa.fi
The University of Vaasa changes over to one domain name: uwasa.fi. The university domain name will be changed during the afternoon of 4 June. A short downtime on our website is possible during that time.
The change will affect both the university web pages and email addresses, so please remember from now on that:
- The university email addresses are firstname.lastname@student.uwasa.fi (students) or firstname.lastname@uwasa.fi (staff).
- The address of the university website is www.uwasa.fi.
- On social media, we will continue to use the already established #univaasa hashtag.
The old addresses will function until the end of 2022. For example, old web page addresses are automatically redirected to the corresponding new addresses (www.uwasa.fi/en/students > www.uwasa.fi/en/students). However, during the transition period, please change your email address to uwasa.fi in any services to which you may have given your university email address.
