The Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation at the University of Vaasa offers high quality education and internationally competitive research in areas of electrical engineering, energy engineering, automation and physics. Its research activities are aimed at providing viable solutions to problems faced by industry and state organizations.
The department has three divisions:
- Automation
- Electrical Engineering
- Physics
The department offers Master of Science courses and postgraduate courses majoring in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Automation. These can also be chosen as minor subjects.
International MSc (Eng) program is under preparation and is expected to commence in 2010.
