AFAR
The First AFAR was held at the University of Vaasa on 18th and 19th April 2002. Our outstanding invited speakers were Ann Gaeremynck from K.U.Leuven and Peter Wysocki from MIT. On 10th and 11th April 2003 AFAR was held at the Swedish School of Economics in Vaasa and our distinguished guests were W. Robert Knechel from the University of Florida and Anne Loft from Lund University.
The Third AFAR Workshop took place at the Umeå School of Business on 11th and 12th January 2007. The invited speaker, Peter Moizer from Leeds University, commented on several papers and delivered an excellent speech. On 17th and 18th June 2008 at the University of Vaasa we had Ann Vanstraelen from Maastricht University as our invited speaker. Once again, we were very lucky to have such an excellent commentator and speaker as our guest. On January 2010 our guest was Professor Aasmund Eilifsen from the Norwegian School of Business. He continued the tradition of esteemed professors visiting AFAR.
